Edition 2025 — Wine Festival on the Market Square Coburg
The Coburg Wine Festival on the Market Square 2025 took place in May on Coburg's Market Square, solidifying the festival's reputation as a summer meeting point for wine lovers in Upper Franconia. Four days of serving Franconian and South German wines around the Prince Albert Monument, plus live music and DJ sets in the evening – a concept that convinces with its simplicity.
For the 2025 edition, organizers Nima Khorsandi and Enrico Pizzato of Residenzler Events were lucky with the weather and were able to hold the festival as planned in mid-May. The market square, one of Franconia's most beautiful historic squares, provided the ideal backdrop for the festival – Renaissance houses, the Parish Church of St. Moriz, the Town Hall, and the Prince Albert Monument.
As always, wine service, live bands, and DJs alternated. The mix of Franconian and South German wines, small culinary offerings, and a relaxed atmosphere attracted primarily a young, urban audience from Coburg and the surrounding area.
