Edition 2025 — Coburg Reads!

In 2025, Coburg Reads! also brought female and male authors to Coburg for several weeks. Readings, discussions, and workshops took place at various locations – at Buchhandlung Riemann, Coburg University of Applied Sciences, the theatre in the Reithalle, and in private living rooms.

Established Literary Festival

Coburg Reads! is a fixture on the Upper Franconian literary calendar. In 2025, vhs Coburg once again organized a program of readings, discussions, and workshops with well-known female and male authors running for several weeks.

As in previous years, the events were spread across the city – literary venues, the university, and private living rooms became stages. The festival was supported by numerous volunteers, Buchhandlung Riemann, the Landestheater Coburg, and several sponsors.
