Overview

The 2025 season of Classical Music in the Green Buckow also offered eight Sunday concerts in the castle park between Whitsun and the end of August. The series remained true to its concept: open-air chamber music with changing ensembles from Brandenburg, Berlin, and beyond, fair admission prices, and an unpretentious atmosphere.

In 2025, around 1,500 visitors experienced the eight concerts in the castle park. On two occasions, rain necessitated a move to Buckow Church, which lent the concerts a different, more intimate atmosphere. The mix of classical chamber music, tango, and occasional crossover has retained the regular audience — and attracted new guests from Berlin to Buckow.

The series is considered a small but steady cultural hallmark in the Märkisch-Oderland district and is now a firm part of the summer tourist program in the Märkische Schweiz.
