Overview
In 2025, the predecessor format 'run & roll' took place for the last time in its established form — runs for school children and adults, combined with club presentations around Ravensberger Park. The experience was incorporated into the expanded City Move concept in 2026, which focuses more on club participation and hands-on activities.
The 2025 edition confirmed Bielefeld's high interest in an open, accessible Sports Day. Bielefeld Marketing GmbH drew a positive conclusion, which motivated the 2026 relaunch under the name City Move.
