Christmas Market at St. Mary's Cathedral Fürstenwalde

The proven format worked again in 2025: market stalls around the cathedral, a stage with live music, family activities like ice stock sport and a children's train. The atmosphere against the brick backdrop of the cathedral is one of the strongest brand features of this Christmas market — no other in Brandenburg has a similarly impressive setting (with the exception of Potsdam and Brandenburg an der Havel).

The ten-day duration allows the city of Fürstenwalde to use the event as a tourist showcase and also attract day-trippers from Berlin and the state of Brandenburg.
