In 2025, the Christmas Market around the Historic Town Hall again attracted around one million visitors to Münster's old town. Approximately 90 stalls on the Prinzipalmarkt, the Gothic town hall as a backdrop, the typical mix of arts and crafts and gastronomy — the market confirmed its reputation as one of the most beautiful Advent destinations in NRW.

The Christmas Market at Münster Town Hall in 2025 once again confirmed its top position among NRW Christmas markets. With around one million visitors from Germany and neighboring countries, the crowds were particularly high on Advent weekends. The city of Münster drew a positive conclusion: high-quality arts and crafts, gastronomic quality, and the unique atmosphere of Gothic architecture under the canopy of lights. Bookings for 2026 had already begun in Münster hotels in the summer of 2025 — an indicator of the market's continued attractiveness.
