Technische Werke Ludwigshafen transforms Berliner Platz and its adjacent avenues year after year into an atmospheric light spectacle. More than 300,000 individual points of light and over nine kilometers of fairy lights frame trees, facades, and paths. Light arches, illuminated fir trees, and lit pavilions create photo opportunities that make the market a popular destination, especially in the evening.

The market is open Sunday to Thursday from 12 PM to 9 PM, and Fridays and Saturdays from 12 PM to 9:30 PM. Berliner Platz is optimally connected to public transport: light rail lines from Mannheim and the Vorderpfalz stop directly at the market, allowing for a relaxed journey without the hassle of finding parking.
