The 3rd edition of the joint Christmas market by the Foundation Botanical Garden Solingen and the Hospice and Palliative Foundation Solingen took place in 2025, as usual, on the 3rd Advent weekend. Festively decorated greenhouses, arts and crafts, a children's program in the tropical house, and charitable catering characterized the two days.
Christmas Market 2025
The 2025 edition was the 3rd joint edition and solidified the reputation of the Christmas market at the Botanical Garden Solingen as an atmospherically dense Advent classic. The fundraising proceeds for the Hospice and Palliative Foundation were similarly strong as in previous years.
The concept of decorated greenhouses, arts and crafts stalls, a family program, and a consistently charitable focus has proven to be convincing since its inception — the market attracts residents of Solingen as well as visitors from the Bergisches Land and the Rhineland.
