Overview
The 11th edition of the Christmas Market at the Heimatmuseum took place on the first Advent weekend of 2025. The museum courtyard was well-attended on both days; artisans from Westphalia and the international culinary section once again proved to be crowd-pullers.
In cool but dry weather, the courtyard on Wilhelmstraße was once again reliably filled in 2025. The program of arts and crafts, live music, and a visit from St. Nicholas has made the market a stable fixture in Ahlen's Advent calendar — deliberately small, deliberately regional. The Heimatverein Ahlen maintained its special opening of the museum during market hours.
Programme
Around 20 stalls with arts and crafts and culinary offerings, stage program with choirs and brass bands, visit from St. Nicholas on Saturday.
