Overview

From November 19, 2025, to January 11, 2026, Christmas Garden transformed the Botanical Garden Berlin into a walk-through world of light once again. Approximately two kilometers of circular route led through illuminated trees, laser shows, choreographed water fountains, and new thematic stations. Food stalls and an exclusive soundtrack completed the tour.

The 2025/26 Christmas Garden edition continued the tradition unbroken since 2016 at the Botanical Garden Berlin. As in previous years, the approximately 20 light stations along the circular route attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors to the Steglitz-Zehlendorf district. Popular classics were combined with new installations, and choreographed light shows provided the emotional highlights of the route.

The online advance booking system proved successful again: many evenings in Advent were sold out well in advance, especially the weekends between the first Advent weekend and Christmas Eve. Food stalls along the route provided guests with mulled wine, bratwurst, vegetarian snacks, and winter sweets.
