Overview

The 2025/2026 season of "Winter im Park" ran from November 21, 2025, to January 4, 2026, in the Michael Ende Kurpark. For over six weeks, the Kurpark transformed into a winter world of market stalls, light installations, and an ice rink. The evening program featured performances by regional bands and DJs (including Boondogs, GamsKult, Lenze & De Buam, Olles Leiwand). The market had shortened hours on Christmas Eve, was closed on December 25, and open from 12 PM to 5 PM on New Year's Eve.

Winter im Park 2025/2026

The 2025/2026 season established the market concept successfully relocated from Richard Strauss Square a few years prior. In wintery temperatures and with snowfall on the Hausberg massif, thousands of guests visited the Michael Ende Kurpark daily, which was bathed in warm light below the Zugspitze.

Program Pillars

Three pillars defined the season: the market of stalls with regional handicrafts and refreshments, the 300 m² ice rink, and the evening live program. Highlights included performances by GamsKult and Olles Leiwand, the family program on weekends with face painting, and the festive light installations that transformed the entire park into another world after dark.
