Overview

The 62nd edition of the Choriner Musiksommer took place between late June and late August 2025 with 18 concerts in the Chorin monastery ruins. This season too, numerous top ensembles performed in Barnim, ensuring sold-out concert days in the historic Cistercian abbey.

The Choriner Musiksommer 2025 continued the tradition maintained since 1964: 18 classical concerts between June and August, always on Saturdays and Sundays at 3 PM, in the unique atmosphere of the Chorin Monastery.

As every year, the program featured many prominent orchestras and choirs from Germany. The concerts, as usual, attracted tens of thousands of classical music enthusiasts from Berlin, Brandenburg, and all over Germany to the monastery ruins. The 2025 season offered a diverse program of symphonic music, sacred music, chamber music, and crossover formats, laying the groundwork for the 63rd season in 2026.
