The Chinafest Duisburg 2025 took place in early September in the city center and at the Theater am Marientor — three days of Chinese culture, performance, and culinary delights. Organizer: Association of Chinese Women in Germany e.V.
Chinafest 2025
The 2025 edition established the Chinafest as a permanent fixture in Duisburg's event calendar. With the proven three-pillar structure (Encounter, Inspiration, Enjoyment) and the combination of open-air events in the city center and stage programs at the Theater am Marientor, the festival attracted visitors from across the Ruhr region and the Chinese community of the Rhineland. The positive response laid the groundwork for the upcoming 2026 edition.
