Edition 2025 — Chemnitz Fair
The Chemnitz Fair 2025 took place from April 26 to May 11 on Hartmannplatz — integrated into the program of Chemnitz 2025, European Capital of Culture. Saxony Fire on the eve of May 1, the Drambambala children's festival, flea markets, and fireworks were part of the program.
In 2025, the Chemnitz Fair was again one of the most frequented Volksfeste in Eastern Germany. As part of the European Capital of Culture year, it attracted a particularly large number of visitors from the Ore Mountains, Vogtland, and the West Saxony region. The Saxony Fire on the eve of May 1, the Drambambala children's festival, and the closing fireworks have been the reliable core of the program for years — embedded in 16 days of showmen's bustle on Hartmannplatz.
