Edition 2025 — Cheesecake Festival
The fifth edition of the Cheesecake Festival took place in August 2025 at the usual grounds at the Isseldeich in Wertherbruch. The festival followed its slow festival concept with limited capacity, camping and breakfast included in the ticket, as well as special formats by the pond, in the church, and in a castle setting.
5th Cheesecake Festival in Wertherbruch
In August 2025, the Cheesecake Festival at the Isseldeich celebrated its fifth edition. As in previous years, the association Cheesecake Music e.V. consciously positioned itself as a counterpoint to the large festivals of the Lower Rhine region — the local press picked up on this narrative in 2024 with the headline "Counterpoint to Parookaville and Co." and repeated it in 2025.
Programmatically, the festival remained true to its line of indie, folk, and alternative music. The special formats of pond concert, church concert, and castle concert formed — as in previous years — the more intimate framework around the main program on the festival stage. Camping and breakfast remained included in the ticket.
