Edition 2025 — Christmas Market Freising
The Charitable Christmas Market Freising 2025 took place on the 3rd Advent weekend (December 13–14, 2025) on Marienplatz. 47th edition. Around 50 stalls with crafts and delicacies, additional markets in the Old Prison and on Domberg, performances by the Freising Tower Brass players, Open Singing, and St. Nicholas visit. Free admission, proceeds for social institutions.
Charitable Christmas Market 2025
The 47th edition presented itself on the third Advent weekend with the proven concept: around 50 charitable and craft stalls on Marienplatz, additional markets in the Old Prison and on Domberg, mulled wine, delicacies, Advent music by the Freising Tower Brass players, and a visit from St. Nicholas. As in previous years, the proceeds went to social institutions in and around Freising.
Atmosphere on Marienplatz
The market once again attracted numerous visitors from Freising and the surrounding district. The combination of historic scenery, a festively lit Christmas tree, and a charitable character remains the hallmark of Freising's Advent weekend.
