Overview

In 2025, the Carwitzer Flimmerstunde was not yet designated as a separate series – the Hans Fallada Museum experimented with supplementary film formats as part of its reading and matinee season. The official premiere season in 2026 builds on this experience.

The film series Carwitzer Flimmerstunde was officially introduced as a standalone format for the 2026 season. In the 2025 season, the Hans Fallada Museum Carwitz did not yet offer its own film series, focusing instead on the established readings Freitags bei Fallada and the monthly Sonntags-Matineen.

Towards the end of the 2025 season, the programme managers already announced the expansion with the monthly film series for 2026. Thus, 2025 is the last season in which the museum operated with only two (instead of three) fixed event series.
