Edition 2025 — Candlelight Concerts Uecker-Randow
Already in 2025, the Candlelight Concerts in the Uecker-Randow Region brought culture to the region's village churches. Concerts of classical, folk, and chanson music by candlelight in historic brick churches connected the villages between Ueckermünde and Penkun and laid the foundation for the successful continuation of the series.
The Candlelight Concerts in the Uecker-Randow Region established themselves as a travelling concert series in the village churches of the Vorpommern-Greifswald district. Even in 2025, the series featured historic brick churches and barns between Ueckermünde and Penkun.
In the warm glow of numerous candles, classical, folk, chanson, and world music were performed. As a project of the #DorfVernetzt# network, the series pursued the goal of making culture accessible in rural areas and connecting the villages of the region. The audience's positive reception paved the way for the extensive programme in 2026.
