In 2025, the California Windsurf Cup in July once again attracted thousands of watersports fans to the beach of Sankt Peter-Ording. With competitions in windsurfing and wingfoiling, as well as the established Vanlife Expo, the event was once again a highlight in the North German watersports calendar.

The California Windsurf Cup 2025 confirmed Sankt Peter-Ording's status as one of Germany's most important watersports venues. Over five days, professionals and up-and-coming athletes showcased their skills in windsurfing and wingfoiling against the backdrop of the Wadden Sea National Park. The Vanlife Expo brought outdoor brands, camper manufacturers, and thousands of beach visitors to the Event Village. Live music, food trucks, and beach parties complemented the sporting program — a proven mix that has made the format successful for years.
