Overview

BwMusix 2025 continued the cooperation between the Federal Armed Forces' military music service, Yamaha, and the city of Balingen. For three days, youth wind orchestras, wind classes, and big bands from all over Germany competed against each other at the volksbankmesse. Workshops and Federal Armed Forces concerts framed the competitions.

BwMusix 2025

BwMusix 2025 took place, as in previous years, at the volksbankmesse Balingen. For three days, youth orchestras from all over Germany competed, while workshops and concerts by the Federal Armed Forces orchestras ran in parallel.

The BwMusix format is considered an annual highlight of the German youth wind music scene. The competitions under a professional jury and the combination with workshops make the event an important milestone for young brass players. Yamaha supports the program with instrument exhibitions and studio sessions.
