Overview
The BVE-Maifeier 2025 took place on May 1st in the center of Ellerau. The raising of the Maypole by the village community, live music by the band Ellerau Express, barbecue, drinks, and bouncy castles for children characterized the day.
The 2025 May celebration continued the tradition of the Ellerau Civic Association. The raising of the Maypole in the morning, the live music by the band Ellerau Express, and the all-day conviviality at the festival grounds made May 1st a fixed date in the municipality's event calendar.
The family-oriented atmosphere, the bouncy castles for children, and the traditional Maypole ritual underscored Ellerau's character as a vibrant residential and village community in the south of the Segeberg district.
