Edition 2025 — Busenwurth Festival
The Busenwurth Village Festival 2025 followed the traditional three-act format: children's games from the afternoon, suckling pig dinner in the evening at the Dithmarscher Eck inn, dancing until late at night. As in previous years, the festival brought the village community in the Amt Mitteldithmarschen together.
Busenwurth Village Festival 2025 – A Look Back
In 2025, the community of Busenwurth once again invited to its traditional village festival on the last weekend of September. As established for years, the day began with games on the village playground, followed by the suckling pig dinner in the evening at the Dithmarscher Eck inn. The evening programme with music and dancing concluded the festive day.
The festival is a good example of the tradition of self-organised village festivals in Dithmarschen: supported by the municipal administration, local clubs, and gastronomy, it serves as a meeting point for all generations.
