Burschenkera Dormitz

The Burschenkera Dormitz 2025, from July 31 to August 3, continued the Franconian Kerwa tradition of the Middle Franconian community. For several days, brass music, hearty beer, bratwurst, and the convivial gathering of the village community characterized the festival. The Burschenschaft Dormitz – the traditional association of the young generation of the village – organized the Kirchweih, keeping the customs alive. Locals and guests from the surrounding area celebrated together a piece of unadulterated Franconian Kerwa culture in the district of Forchheim.
