Spulenfest as an Identity Format
In recent years, the Burladingen Spulenfest has established itself as one of the most distinctive town festivals in the Zollernalb region. Instead of an interchangeable generic version of a summer town festival, Burladingen focuses on the specific theme of its industrial history — a strength that clearly distinguishes the festival from comparable town festivals in the region.
In 2025, local textile companies once again used the stage to present themselves to the public and visitors from the Zollernalb district and beyond. The fashion show by Albstadt-Sigmaringen University of Applied Sciences was once again a well-attended program item; many students see the Spulenfest as a good platform for internships and career entry contacts with the Burladingen textile industry.
