Burgweihnacht Denklingen

The 2025 edition of the Burgweihnacht confirmed the market's reputation as one of the most atmospheric Advent markets in the Oberbergisches Land. The medieval castle setting, the family-friendly programme with Christmas singing and storyteller and the regional craft stalls make this market an alternative for anyone looking to escape the commercialised big-city Christmas markets.

Reichshof-Denklingen lies in the heart of the Oberbergisches — a rural region with an active club life, where such castle Advent markets are organised by volunteer bodies such as support associations, with the proceeds often going towards the upkeep of the monument.
