Overview
The Burgsommer Kirkel 2025 once again brought thousands of visitors to the historic Kirkel Castle — craftsmen's village, knight fights, and fire shows.
The 2025 edition followed the proven concept: during the day, a craftsmen's village with hands-on workshops for children and adults, and in the evening, knight fights and fire shows by torchlight. Kreissparkasse Saarpfalz was the main sponsor in 2025, securing the long-term future of the event.

Craftsmen's village with around twelve guilds, falconry, knight fights, fire shows, and fairy tales by the campfire at Kirkel Castle.
