Burgsommer Festival Burg Ummendorf — Edition 2025

The Burgsommer Festival did not yet exist in its current, two-day format in 2025. However, the organizer, the Börde Museum Burg Ummendorf, had already offered individual Burgsommer concerts in previous years — concerts in the castle courtyard with a small stage and regional catering, which served as a blueprint for the now officially launched festival format. In 2025, the program included a performance by Simon Becker, who is again part of the lineup in 2026.

Building on these individual concerts, the museum team, together with the Börde district, further developed the concept into an independent summer festival: instead of one evening, now two full days; instead of one artist, a lineup of five acts. The premiere in July 2026 thus marks the actual start of the Burgsommer Festival as a recurring format.

Before the 2026 premiere, only individual Burgsommer concerts were held at Burg Ummendorf; there was no continuous festival weekend. A complete festival program for 2025 does not exist.
