The 4th season of the Burgfestspiele Plau am See in summer 2025 featured the family musical »The Jungle Book« and a summer revue as original productions, along with several guest performances from cabaret and comedy. The venue was, as usual, the castle courtyard at Burgplatz 2.
Season 2025 — Review
In 2025, the Burgfestspiele Plau am See presented the family musical The Jungle Book in several performances as its central original production, along with a musical summer revue. Guest performances from cabaret and theatre complemented the summer schedule in the castle courtyard. The festival once again confirmed its format of a family programme in the early evening and adult shows from 7:30 PM.
With the 2025 season, the festival continued its development into an established summer institution in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. 2026 will feature »Peter Pan – The Neverland Musical« and »HITPARADE«.
