Overview

The 29th Burgfest Wesenberg took place in July 2025 at the castle above the Woblitz. As every year, the night watchman's tour with the handover of the town hall key to the town founder Nikolaus von Werle opened the festival. Knightly performances, the historic castle play, a parade, and fireworks attracted numerous visitors to the Woblitz town.

The 29th Burgfest Wesenberg was celebrated in July 2025 and once again confirmed the festival's reputation as one of the summer highlights in the Mecklenburg Lake District. It traditionally began with the night watchman's tour, during which the mayor handed over the town hall key to the town founder Nikolaus von Werle.

On the festival meadow below the castle, the program included knightly performances, the historic castle play, a historical parade, market stalls, and a family program. The event concluded with fireworks over the castle. As usual, the festival was organized by the Burgverein Wesenberg e.V.
