Edition 2025 — Burgfest Schauenstein
The 3rd edition of the Burgfest Schauenstein in August 2025 once again brought a medieval market, camp life, and minstrels to the castle square. The medieval groups Vielgestalt and Maleficius performed on both days; the fire show on Saturday evening with an illuminated castle complex was the visual highlight. The festival was again organized on a voluntary basis by the Schlossfreunde Schauenstein association.
2025 Season in Review
The 3rd Burgfest Schauenstein followed the now-established concept of a two-day market on the castle square, camp life with costumed groups, craft stalls, and a medieval stage program. The Schlossfreunde Schauenstein organized the festival on a voluntary basis again.
The wood-operated Ferris wheel and the children's carousel were, as in previous years, the crowd favorites for families. The visual highlight was the fire show on Saturday evening with the colorful illumination of the castle complex.
