Overview

The 32nd Burgfest Neustadt-Glewe took place in early summer 2025 at the castle, once again transporting visitors to the Middle Ages. Knight tournaments, combat demonstrations, falconry, a medieval market with crafts, and a stage program of music, jesters, and fire shows characterized the festival, which once again proved to be one of the region's most popular medieval events in 2025.

With its 32nd edition, the Burgfest Neustadt-Glewe continued its long tradition in 2025. The medieval castle complex once again served as the backdrop for a weekend full of knight camps, tournaments, and combat demonstrations. The medieval market brought together traders and craftspeople, the falconry camp impressed with flight demonstrations, and on several stages, music groups, jesters, and fire artists provided entertainment. Families found a wide range of hands-on activities — from blacksmithing and archery to historical games for children. The festival confirmed its status as a fixture on the event calendar of the Ludwigslust-Parchim district.
