The 2025 Burgfest once again attracted thousands of visitors from the Aachen region to Burg Rode. The camp of the Limburger Ritterschaft, the arts and crafts market, and a music program with school bands and choirs made the day a family highlight on the first Sunday of June.

The 2025 Burgfest confirmed the successful format: a medieval market around the moated castle, show fights by the knights, and courtly music. Together with the Sunday shopping event in the city center, the event drew several thousand guests.
