Overview

The Burgfest Creuzburg 2025 attracted thousands of medieval enthusiasts, families, and costumed visitors to Creuzburg Castle over the extended Pentecost weekend. Four days of market activities, knight groups, fire shows, a festival parade, and live concerts marked the annual spectacle in the Wartburg district — organized by the Burgverein Creuzburg e.V.

Burgfest 2025 at Creuzburg Castle

As every year at Pentecost, Creuzburg Castle transformed into a medieval festival town for four days in 2025. Market activities in the castle courtyard, knight groups with sword fights, medieval folk music on stage, a festival parade through the old town, and the evening fire show were part of the core program. Organizer: Burgverein Creuzburg e.V., which has been maintaining and revitalizing the castle for decades.
