Edition 2025 — Burg- und Stadtfest Schkölen
The Burg- und Stadtfest Schkölen 2025 took place on Saturday, May 31, at Schkölen Castle and in the city centre — the town's largest Volksfest with live music, regional food and drinks, and a family programme. The organiser was the town of Schkölen with the support of local clubs in the Saale-Holzland district.
Burg- und Stadtfest 2025 in Schkölen
On May 31, 2025, the Burg- und Stadtfest opened its gates — a long Saturday festival around Schkölen Castle with a stage programme, regional gastronomy, arts and crafts, and family activities. As in previous years, the festival focused on community spirit, bringing together Schkölen residents and guests from the wider region between the Saale and Elster rivers.
