Overview

The 31st edition of the Burbach Christmas Market took place on the second weekend of Advent 2025, attracting large crowds despite rainy weather. Around 60 stalls on the Hut Boulevard, a live performance by the cover band EVE, and a visit from St. Nicholas with the first female night watchman of Burbach, Michelle Hinkebecker, marked the weekend.

The 2025 edition was under special circumstances: for the first time, the first female night watchman of Burbach accompanied St. Nicholas through the town and distributed chocolate fir trees to the children. Despite the rainy weather, the municipality of Burbach and the approximately 60 stallholders reported high visitor numbers and an excellent atmosphere.

On Saturday evening, the cover band EVE performed on the stage in the market center, and on Sunday, a fire show by "Der Lemmi" for children rounded off the program. The Römer-Passage and the Alte Vogtei offered arts and crafts on several floors on both days.
