Edition 2025 — Bunte Platte
The 2025 edition of "Bunte Platte" took place on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 1 PM to 6 PM in the Quartierspark am Warnitzer Bogen in Neu-Hohenschönhausen. District Mayor Martin Schaefer opened the festival by stating that "our neighborhoods stick together, Lichtenberg is colorful and shows it" through this annual celebration. Stage program with local bands and dance groups, information booths from social projects, children's program with craft and hands-on activities, food trucks — free admission. Organizers: Lichtenberg District Office and Synicial Berlin. The 2025 edition paved the way for the 2026 event on May 1, 2026.
On May 1, 2025, the "Bunte Platte" May festival once again opened the Quartierspark am Warnitzer Bogen for the Neu-Hohenschönhausen neighborhood. The stage program, local initiatives with booths, dance groups and performers, children's craft stations, and a diverse food offering characterized the afternoon. District Mayor Martin Schaefer personally opened the festival, emphasizing the community spirit of the colorful Plattenbau neighborhood. The 2025 edition led directly to the 2026 event on May 1st.
