Edition 2025 — Bunte Meile Bergstedt
The 2025 edition of the Bunte Meile Bergstedt took place, as usual, on a Sunday in May around Bergstedt Church at Volksdorfer Damm 268. On the programme: a flea market, stage performances by the Junge Musikakademie Hamburg, club stands, international cuisine, and a children's programme. The neighbourhood festival is one of the fixed spring events in the north of Hamburg.
The 2025 edition continued the established tradition of the Bunte Meile: a dense festival, supported by volunteers from Heimatring Bergstedt e.V., combining the character of a flea market with a neighbourhood stage. The Junge Musikakademie Hamburg contributed to the musical programme with several stage slots, and local clubs presented themselves at stands.
For Bergstedt, Sasel, and the surrounding Walddörfer districts, the Bunte Meile 2025 was once again an occasion for neighbourly exchange, charity stalls, and a cross-generational programme. The festival is part of Hamburg's volunteer-run city district cultural calendar in the state of Hamburg.
