Schützenverein Hatten e.V.

The Schützenverein Hatten e.V. is rooted in the main town of Kirchhatten within the municipality of Hatten. It is one of the larger clubs in the Oldenburg district and maintains an extensive infrastructure with shooting ranges, a festival tavern, and a festival grounds at the Schützenhof on Dingsteder Straße.

Friday — Local Cup Shooting and Open-Air Party

The festivities kick off on Friday, July 3rd, 2026, with the local cup shooting (a marksmen's competition between local districts or clubs from the region) and an evening open-air party. Saturday — Family and Children's Day

The program includes: free games for children, face painting, a giant bouncy castle, crowning of the children's queen and king, and a grand festival ball in the evening. Sunday — Climax with Grand Parade

On Sunday, July 5th, 2026, the program is grandly staged. The parade marches through Kirchhatten — led by the marksmen's club, with a marching band and floats. The King's hour takes place at the Hotel Zum Deutschen Hause, followed by a performance by the Bühren orchestra, the grand proclamation of the new marksmen's majesties, and the concluding King's dinner.

Schützenhof Dingsteder Straße

The Schützenhof on Dingsteder Straße 27 is the venue for the festival and competition programs. With its clubhouse, festival tent, and grounds, it offers the full infrastructure for a three-day festival.
