The 46th Bürgerwoche Bochum-Ost took place in June 2025, as is traditional. Volkspark Langendreer, Lahariplatz Laer, and Marktplatz Werne opened their stages, as every year, for clubs, schools, and district initiatives. The Bürgerwoche continued its unbroken run since 1976.

Bürgerwoche 2025 in Bochum's East

The 46th edition of the Bürgerwoche Bochum-Ost in 2025 continued the tradition since 1976. For a week, Volkspark Langendreer, Lahariplatz Laer, and Marktplatz Werne once again opened their stages, club stands, and spaces for community encounters. The district representation Ost coordinated the participation of over 100 local clubs, schools, and parish communities — a logistical achievement supported by volunteers for years, making the social fabric of Bochum's East visible anew each year. The 2025 edition laid the groundwork for the 50th anniversary in 2026.
