Overview

The Hofschoppenfest 2025 once again transformed the courtyard of the Bürgerspital into a Würzburg summer lounge for eleven evenings. Free admission, live music every evening, Franconian cuisine from the Bürgerspital wine tavern, and wines directly from the producer.

With eleven festival evenings in June 2025, the Bürgerspital continued its tradition as a summer wine institution in Würzburg. The White Party on the Saturday in the middle of the festival once again attracted hundreds of guests in white attire, and tables were booked weeks in advance for the entire festival duration. Different bands provided a lounge and jazz atmosphere on other evenings, and the Bürgerspital wine list covered the entire house spectrum — from simple "Schoppen" to premium wines from the Würzburg Stein vineyard site.
