Overview

The Weidenberg Bürgerfest 2025 concluded the festival weekend on the third Sunday in July, following the Kellernacht. The Obermarkt was car-free and enlivened by club stands, gastronomy, and live music. After several years of cancellations for the Kellernacht, the associated event made its comeback in 2025.

2025 marked an important year for Weidenberg: after two years of cancellations for the Kellernacht in 2023 and 2024, the double summer festival consisting of Kellernacht (Friday) and Bürgerfest (Sunday) returned to its classic format. The Bürgerfest on July 20 benefited from this comeback and attracted a significantly larger audience than in previous years.

Clubs, traders, restaurateurs, and the market town of Weidenberg collaborated on the organization. With the success of 2025, the continuation in 2026 became a certainty.
