Edition 2025 — Bürgerfest Velburg
The Bürgerfest Velburg 2025 took place from August 1 to 3, 2025, on the Stadtplatz. Program: "Blech am Stadtplatz" with several brass bands, "Kunst aus Velburg" art exhibition, Burgberglauf, face painting, bouncy castle, sandpit, and large building blocks, culinary stands from local associations, and coffee/cake from the Women's Association. Free admission.
Bürgerfest Velburg 2025
The 2025 edition continued the proven Bürgerfest concept: three days of Stadtplatz program with brass music, art, family activities, and the sporting Burgberglauf. The mix of regional tradition (brass music, association stands) and modern family offerings (bouncy castle, large building blocks) has made the festival a firm fixture in Velburg's summer calendar for years.
Atmosphere Despite Weather
As in previous years, the Bürgerfest atmosphere persisted even in changeable summer weather: events under tent tarps and in the historic town center took place despite the rain.
