Edition 2025 — Bürgel Pottery Market
The 49th Bürgel Pottery Market in 2025, as every year in June, took place in the town center of the pottery town of Bürgel. Around 100 ceramic artists from Germany and the Czech Republic exhibited, with firing and factory demonstrations characterizing the weekend. The Bürgel Ceramics Museum presented special exhibitions on the town's 450-year pottery tradition.

In 2025, the Bürgel Pottery Market once again attracted ceramic artists from Germany and the Czech Republic to the small town in the Saale-Holzland district. Around 100 market stalls lined the historic main street, open-fire and Raku firing demonstrations, factory tours in the traditional Bürgel potteries, and a special exhibition at the Ceramics Museum marked the market weekend. Bürgel, with its blue engobe on a white background — the typical Bürgel pottery with the "Bürgel dot" decor — remained the focal point of the event.
