Edition 2025 — Onion Market Bünde

The 44th Bünde Onion Market took place from September 25 to 28, 2025 — the established mix of folk festival, funfair, open-air party, and funfair with the Ferris wheel as a landmark, Friday evening fireworks, several music stages, and Sunday shopping. Around 150 exhibitors populated the Bünde city center around Eschstraße.

44th Edition 2025

The 44th edition of the Bünde Onion Market ran as planned from September 25 to 28, 2025. The Ferris wheel was the central landmark of the festival, which met its broadly mixed target audience — from families to partygoers — with its mix of folk festival, funfair, open-air party, tent party, and funfair.

The fireworks on Friday evening around 9 p.m. once again delighted visitors. Several open-air music stages provided regional pop, rock, and Schlager music on Friday and Saturday, and the tent parties went on until 1:30 a.m. On Sunday, the shops in Bünde's city center opened for Sunday shopping — combining the Onion Market visit with a shopping trip.
