Overview

The Buchen Christmas Market 2025 took place from November 27th to 30th — four days of festivities in the old town around the Old Town Hall and the City Tower. It opened on Friday at 11 AM with the Buchen City Band and children from local kindergartens. The mulled wine party on Saturday evening, the after-work party on Thursday, and the fairy tale puppet show on Sunday were the main program highlights.

The Buchen Christmas Market 2025 edition followed the classic format, with well-attended stalls and a cozily lit old town. The market kicked off on Thursday evening with an after-work party and the band Rusty Move. On Friday, the Buchen City Band officially opened the event, accompanied by children from local kindergartens. The city bus was available free of charge during the market opening days — a measure implemented so consistently, it's rare in the region.

The Saturday program featured free city tours with mulled wine included, a visit from St. Nicholas in the afternoon, and the mulled wine party in the evening with the band Realusion. On Sunday afternoon, the fairy tale puppet show delighted children's eyes. Over four days, the market attracted tens of thousands of visitors from the Neckar-Odenwald district and surrounding regions.
