Edition 2025 — Buchbusch
The premiere edition of the Buchbusch Festival took place in June 2025 at the festival grounds in Pforzheim, establishing the "Mad Max meets Techno" concept as a new brand in the South German open-air scene. On one main stage plus an afterhour floor, the festival presented top acts of the German techno scene and received positive feedback from the audience and the industry with its elaborate stage concept and strong food truck selection.
Premiere 2025 — The Kick-off
The first edition in 2025 was a test — and a success. Buchbusch Festival e.V. conceived the format as a compact one-day festival with a clear identity: first-class techno, a creative stage concept with industrial aesthetics, food trucks with upscale street food, not a typical mainstream open-air, but a subcultural reference for club-affine visitors.
The response was good enough to motivate the association to significantly expand the event in 2026 — a second stage (Warrior Stage), longer playing times, a broader lineup. Pforzheim and the North Baden club scene now have a new established open-air event that is also recognized regionally.
