Overview

The 2025 Schützenfest of BSV Hamborn-Neumühl 1926 e.V. was a regular four-day Schützenfest in Duisburg-Neumühl — and simultaneously a prelude to the club's 100th anniversary in 2026. The reigning shooting king — elected in 2025 — will lead the 2026 anniversary celebration. Festival opening, King's shooting, a grand procession on Sunday, and the King's Ball concluded the festival calendar.

Schützenfest 2025 — Final Prelude to the Anniversary

The 2025 Schützenfest of BSV Hamborn-Neumühl 1926 e.V. was particularly important: the shooting king elected there will lead the club into its grand 100th anniversary in 2026. The festival program followed the classic four-day Schützenfest format in Duisburg-Neumühl.

Festival opening, shooting club mass and King's shooting, a grand procession on Sunday, and the coronation and King's Ball on Monday. President Ulrich Kretschmer and Vice President Björn Geurtz used the festival to intensify preparations for the 100th anniversary in 2026 — the special 2026 festival is planned to be “bigger, more intense, and grander” than the regular 2025 festival. The 2025 edition confirmed the BSV's position as a fixture in the Duisburg shooting club scene.
