Overview

In June 2025, the Brunnenschoppen was celebrated at the Hirtenbrunnen Michelau in the Steigerwald. The local winegrowers' association served Franconian wines directly from the producer, accompanied by Franconian snacks and specialties from the village community. A typical Franconian local wine festival in an intimate open-air atmosphere.

In 2025, the format of the Brunnenschoppen at the Hirtenbrunnen Michelau proved successful once again. The intimate arrangement with wooden tables and benches by the fountain makes the festival a pleasant alternative to the large Franconian wine festivals and attracts wine lovers from the Kitzingen district and the neighboring Würzburg region.

The Michelau winegrowers' association and the village community jointly organize the festival and use the proceeds to finance projects for the preservation of wine tradition and the village's appearance.
