Edition 2025 — Brückenfestival

The Brückenfestival Nürnberg 2025, as always, took place in early August under the Theodor-Heuss-Bridge on the Pegnitz meadows. Two stages, regional and international bands from Indie and Singer-Songwriter genres, completely free admission, a festival run by volunteers with a clear political stance. Afterparties at Desi and MUZclub.

The previous edition continued the established Brückenfestival concept: a completely free open-air event under the bridge, run by volunteers, with clearly formulated awareness standards. The festival has been a fixture in Nuremberg's alternative scene for years, attracting festival-goers from the entire Nuremberg-Fürth-Erlangen metropolitan region as well as tourists from southern Germany.

In 2025, the festival was again supported by the volunteer Brückenfestival team — setup, stage operations, bar service, security, dismantling. Sponsors such as N-ERGIE, Sparkasse Nürnberg, and the City of Nuremberg enabled free admission. The festival's anti-discrimination policy — "No Racism, No Sexism, No Homophobia" — has been one of its hallmarks for years.
