Brückenfestival Amberg

No edition of the Brückenfestival took place in 2025 — the premiere is planned for July 11, 2026. In the second half of 2025 and the spring of 2026, the planning phase was underway: concept development by initiator Thiemo Donhauser, cooperation with Casino-Saal Amberg and Trio Club, coordination with the city of Amberg, safety and traffic concepts for bridge usage, sound system planning, and early bird ticket sales.

The goal is to establish a permanent fixture in the Upper Palatinate festival landscape for a modern, location-specific day festival for electronic music — a response to the post-Corona club scene and the desire for open-air experiences in the region.

With the premiere in 2026, the Brückenfestival is intended to become an annual summer highlight for Amberg in the future.
